WHERE DOES THIS TEA COME FROM?
This tea comes from the Phoenix Mountain region (Fenghuang Shan) in Chaozhou, Guangdong—one of the most famous areas for Dancong oolong production.
Dancong literally means “single bush,” a traditional approach where tea trees are selected for their distinct aromatic profiles. These cultivars are known for producing naturally expressive aromas such as orchid, honey, fruit, and creamy floral tones without any added flavoring.
The “milky” character in this style is not from milk or additives—it’s a naturally occurring aromatic impression developed through cultivar selection, oxidation, and roasting.
